Heiden

Heiden are truly a unique phenomenon on the Czech scene. It was originally a pagan black metal band. Gradually, however, they exchanged frolicking around the fire and worshiping old oaks for something quite different. This something is a strangely introverted mix of black, doom and rock with a dose of depression and melancholy. And the fact that their latest album Dolores received the Anděl genre award for 2011 is proof that it's really worth it.
