Ghost Dance

Ghost Dance is a British gothic rock band.

Ghost Dance was originally formed in 1985 by Anne Marie Hurst (formerly of Skeletal Family) and Gary Marx (of The Sisters of Mercy). The band eventually broke up in 1989.

In 2021, Ghost Dance introduced a new line-up with Anne Marie Hurst and quickly gained momentum with YouTube videos exceeding 100,000 views and a series of well-received singles and live shows. The following year, the band released their long-awaited album The Silent Shout (2023) to rave reviews. In 2025, after several guest musicians passed through the band, Anne Marie rebuilt the group with a stable line-up and new energy.
