Fox Lake

Fox Lake is an American music group originating from Denver, which was formed in 2017. It was formed from the original informal playing of several members in a home environment with the aim of creating its own variant of hard music combining elements of hardcore, hip-hop and metal.

Since the beginning of its activity, the band has been profiled on the border of genres, while its work is based on the connection of rhythmic vocal procedures inspired by hip-hop and the guitar-oriented sound of hardcore and nu-metal. The American metalcore circuit, in which the band members moved before its formation, also had an influence on the formation of the style.

The debut album Silence & Violence was released in 2020 and presented the basic features of the band's sound. It was followed by other work, including the EPs Lady Luck (2021) and Fear & Loathing (2023), which developed a combination of aggressive musical structure and rhythmically expressive vocal expression.

In 2024, the band signed a contract with the MNRK Heavy label and began the preparation of new studio material, accompanied by the release of a single Savior.

The current work is represented by the album New World Heat (2025), which continues the previous direction of the group and works thematically with the motifs of personal identity and transformation. The recording was created as a continuation of the development of the sound, which combines elements of hardcore, hip-hop and rock within the current heavy scene.
