Emma Harner
Emma Harner is an American singer, songwriter, guitarist and multi-instrumentalist from Lincoln, Nebraska. She has been involved in music since early childhood, when she started playing the violin, later she focused on the guitar, which became a key instrument in her work. She is studying guitar at Berklee College of Music in Boston.
She made a name for herself in the music scene through short videos on social networks, where she presented her own compositions and covers. These recordings led to an increase in audience and wider media interest. Her work straddles the border between indie folk, alternative pop and math rock, and is characterized by the use of complex guitar techniques, rhythmic structures and melodic construction.
In 2024, she released her debut single When You Mean It, which was presented as part of the Zane Lowe World First program. She subsequently performed as an opening act on Orly Gartland's tour.
Current work includes the Taking My Side EP, which has been released in several versions, including studio and live.
