Elektrïck Mann

Elektrïck Mann is a popularly entertaining orchestra from Valašské Meziříčí producing music on the border between hip-hop, core and punk, founded in 1994.

Elektrïck Mann is a musical group from Valašské Meziříčí singing in the genres of alkorap, hard-core, punk and hip-hop. from the beginning they are a peculiar endemic that was never adored by the hip-hop, punk or metal community. The members themselves named the genre in which they work as "punk smoke". The lyrics are most often comic stories experienced by their main characters - most often losers from a small town, who, thanks to their open lifestyle, are confronted with the reality of life in the state establishment, which brings with it a large number of humorous situations... The lyrics contain a number of original expressions and puns that the band took from the dialect, but more often they introduced them themselves (e.g. "zabublat" - have a beer, "podhulit" - smoke with...). As one of the first Czech hip-hop bands, Elektrïck Mann used explicit expressions in their lyrics and shocked with their wild lifestyle, which they openly glossed over in their compositions, e.g.: "I want it in my veins so that we can survive and have a little fun..." The lyrics also often contain a large number of allusions to non-standard interpersonal relationships and drug issues.

On November 21 In 2015, Ice-B (Jan Bezděk), longtime singer and frontman of the band, died. Due to the death of the iconic frontman in 2015, former collaborators of the band predicted its breakup, without realizing the fact that Ice-B wrote the last track about ten years ago on the record Kokar Pičkan (2006). With the very first single after this event, Protože mulem (2017), MC Mukas coped with these voices, and the singles Tralala tralala (2019) feat. Rezník, Pátek (2019) and finally Tlustopéráci jedu (2021) followed.
