Drew McDowall

A lifelong interest in the elegiac solo piper style called pibroch has inspired much of his previous work (including Coil's Time Machines album). He was part of Psychic TV in the 1980s and formed the post-punk band The Poems with his then-wife Rose McDowall, which went on to become Strawberry Switchblade and countless projects that David Keenan later named England's Hidden Reverse. In the 1990s, he was a member of the group Coil for several years and was at the birth of their essential recordings.
