Since the 2013/2014 season, Petr Štědroň has been the director of the Na zábradlí Theatre, Dora Viceníková is the artistic director, and Jan Mikulášek is the general director, i.e. the proven artistic team of the Brno Reduta. Their concept won the competition announced by the founder of the Theater Na zábradlí, the City Hall. city ​​of Prague. In an interview with Divadelní noviny in November 2013, Petr Štědroň described his first season in Prague, entitled Tradice v nové, as follows: “We want to build on principles rather than a specific tradition. There is no reason to copy, we are not plagiarists. Those principles are an interest in an often unpleasant topic that resonates, productions that leave a mark on the viewer, ask him questions and make demands on him.
