Divadlo Kámen

Divadlo Kámen is a Prague author's theater. He works in his own theater studio for 50 spectators near the Invalidovna metro station. Since 1999, he has performed around 30 shows every year. Its founder and director is Petr Odo Macháček.

Divadlo Kámen focuses on original forms of modern drama. He works with the physical perception of the theater and its musicality, playing out motifs on multiple levels, interplay of forces and energies, minimalist procedures, jazz-type improvisation, live personal acting. Performances open up space for multidimensional experiences, free interpretation and inevitable humor.

Divadlo Kámen relies on a group of long-term and conceptually working actors who are the main creators of each performance.
