Deafheaven

Deafheaven were founded in 2010 in San Francisco and brought a new direction into the metal genre-in their music they combine elements of black metal with atmospheric post-rock and shoegaze, creating intense and emotional sound. The key moment in the band's career was the release of Sunbather in 2013, which gained great attention and recognition of criticism. Deafheaven differs from traditional black metal not only sound but also visually, and thus brings a new aesthetic approach to the scene. The band members are not bound to conventions and their modern approach reflects the experimental nature of their music.
