Dayseeker

Dayseeker is an American post-hardcore and metalcore band founded in 2012 in Orange County, California. The current line-up consists of Rory Rodriguez (vocals), Gino Sgambelluri (guitar), Ramone Valerio (bass) and Zac Mayfield (drums).

The band released their first recordings in 2012 and signed a contract with InVogue Records a year later. In October 2013, she released her debut album What It Means to Be Defeated, which was reissued in 2014 with acoustic versions of selected tracks. In 2015, the second album Origin followed. In 2016, Dayseeker went under Spinefarm Records and there were personnel changes when Alex Polk and Andrew Sharp left the band.

The third album Dreaming Is Sinking /// Waking Is Rising was released in July 2017. It was followed by the fourth album Sleeptalk released in 2019, which became an important milestone in the band's discography. In 2022, the band released the album Dark Sun, whose lyrics were inspired by personal experiences, including the death of Rodriguez's father. In April 2024, Dayseeker released the album Replica, which offered the processing of older compositions in acoustic form.
