Darren Kiely

Darren Kiely is an Irish folk-pop singer and songwriter living in New York.

Darren Kiely's pop sound stems from his inherited love of traditional Irish music mixed with modern influences such as The Lumineers , Mumford & Sons and Noah Kahan. Darren learned to play the tin whistle at just five years old, took up the violin at the age of eight and eventually learned to play the guitar. In 2019, Darren began singing and quickly gained attention for his raw vocals and emotional delivery. After winning a number of awards nationally in Irish traditional music, Darren found himself in New York in 2022 to continue developing his own music and sound, heading to the songwriting hub of Nashville soon after.
