Brujeria

Despite claims of cartel involvement, the band is actually a side project of metal and punk musicians who use the image for dramatic effect and satire. The group formed in 1989. Their debut album Matando Güeros in 1993 marked the birth of their extreme image, and although it was originally a studio project, demand led to their first live performance in 1997. The album Esto Es Brujeria, released in 2023, continues their still intense sound thirty years later with timely and spicy lyrics.
