Bratrstvo Luny

Brotherhood of Luna is a dark rock group from Kralupy nad Vltavou, active since 2006.

The own definition of the work is LunArt music / post gothic. The Brotherhood of Luna is praised for its perfectionist approach to releasing elaborate physical carriers. It is not easy to see the band on stages, as its philosophy is to perform only on exceptional occasions. The Brotherhood of Luna is also known for its very close connection to the frotman Peter Štěpán (13th century). Above many joint projects, the album Luna nad Iglau (2019), which the legend of the Czech-Slovakian punk and gothic scene sang in its entirety and included in his official discography, stands out like a proud coat of arms. On the fourth studio album Clamare (2021), solo vocals were taken over by Bruzs D, whose vocal capabilities and songwriting potential started a new era for the band. The split album Carpe Luna and Autumn of the bands Bratrstvo Luna and Monasterial Crypt, released in 2025, became a treat for collectors of physical media (CD & LP), in which the guitarist and co-founder of "BL" Darkthep (Payo) began his musical career. They will celebrate their "20" anniversary on the scene with the release of a brand new studio album with famous guests called Aquarius (release date 26/09/2026) and six concerts of The Gold And Silver Ritual Tour 2026 with the band Pačess. Spiritus agens Fratrstva R. X. Thámo is also the organizer of his own musical theater festival Magická noc troubadours, publisher of the fanzine Troubadúr and co-author of the film documentary Saint from Hell – Chaoticon by Petr Štěpán. He is currently working on the book version of the project.
