Bran

Bran ​​was created in 1999 by a meeting of Breton and Czech musicians. In Breton, Bran means raven, a messenger from Celtic legends. The one who brought Celtic music on his wings to Central Europe. And on the coast of the Atlantic Ocean, the east wind. The individual musical instruments together with the different musical influences and origins of each member create a special color that makes Bran original. Bran focuses mainly on traditional dance music and songs of the sea. The group offers a wide repertoire that draws both from the compositions of individual musicians and from traditional melodies.

The members of the band are Robert Fischmann (vocals, flute, keyboards, pipes), Vojtěch Jindra (acoustic guitar), Tomáš Görtler ( accordion, vocals), Petr Mikeš (bass guitar) and Víťa Patočka (drums).
