Bára Zmeková

Singer moving between folk, classical, jazz and electronica. He relieves the fragility and urgency of his music and Czech lyrics with humor and perspective, and it would be difficult for anyone to separate it from the piano. She has already performed at several Czech festivals (Colours of Ostrava, Mišmaš party, BiGy fest, United Islands club night, Banát festival in Romania etc.) and gave concerts all over the Czech Republic and abroad (Melbourne, London, Bale, Pazin, Ljubljana etc.). She released her debut album Just a little bit with the support of the Jámor studio and the magazine Fullmoon in 2013. Since then, as an author, she has participated in several cover compilations (Hommage to Bulis em> 2015, Kittchen: Akt2017) and collaborated with various theater and music projects.

She confirmed her position on the Czech alternative music scene with the release of her second album Lunaves (2019, Transistor label), which won not only a place on the first ranks of the annual charts of Radio 1 or Proglas and was included among the musical acts of the year in the magazines Headliner and MusicServer, but it also brought Báře two nominations for the Music Academy of Popular Music Anděl award, in two main categories – Solo Performer and Discovery of the Year.
