Aiko

Aiko is a pseudonym for Alena Shirmanová, a singer and producer who will represent the Czech Republic in 2024 at the Eurovision Song Contest in Malmö, Sweden. On this occasion, he and his band are going on a European tour in the fall, when they will play in the UK, Denmark, the Netherlands, Spain, Switzerland and most European countries. In addition to the competition song Pedestal, the concerts will also feature new tracks that will be released later this year. The first swallow is the summer single Hunger, which she recorded with an Austrian singer named Teya - the Austrian representative from Eurovision 2023.

She has been active on the music scene for several years and has been roaming the stages since 2015 not only at home, but also around the world. She started her singing career in the Česko Slovenská SuperStar competition in 2015. In 2018, she released her first album Aiko, in 2020 she is coming with the album Expiration Date and the third album Fortune's Child saw the light of day last year. In 2022, she won the Rádia Wave – Czeching talent competition and played at the Great Escape, Eurosonic, Grape, Rock for People or festivals Metronome. She jumped ahead of stars like Alice Merton or Tamino.
