3D Company

The theater group 3D company has had its home stage in the Jára Cimrman Theater in Žižkov since September 2011. The first premiere was Woody Allen's comedy CENTRAL PARK WEST. The founding members of the ensemble were the director Martin Vokoun (today the artistic director of the ensemble), the dramaturg Kateřina Fixová and the actors Anna Fixová, Diana Šoltýsová, Michal Kern and Petr Stach. Through gradual creative activity, the ensemble created a permanent circle of its collaborators (e.g. actors Natália Drabiščáková, Ladislav Hampl, Pavel Batěk, Kristýna Frejová, scenographer Agnieszka Pátá Oldak and others). In the 2013/2014 season, Kristýna Čepková became the second dramaturg of the ensemble. In the fall of 2015, guest director Jakub Šmíd joined (the production Night of the Tribádek, Chekhov vs. Tolstoy). Artistically, the 3D company focuses on the current form of drama theater, so the dramaturgy focuses mainly on current texts and their Czech premieres, mostly in a chamber setting. A number of productions are performed "with the audience on stage", which brings a unique experience - the perception of the acting performance from the immediate vicinity and an unconventional point of view of the theater in general (from behind the scenes).
