2 Unlimited

2 Unlimited was a Eurodance group founded in 1991. It was a project of Belgian producers Jean-Paul DeCoster and Phil Wilde. The group consisted of a Dutch singing duo, rapper Ray Slijngaard and singer Anita Doth. During the first five years they achieved significant success, they had sixteen hits such as Get Ready For This, Twilight Zone, No Limit or Tribal Dance. They have sold over 18 million albums worldwide. The group broke up in 1996.

Producers Jean-Paul DeCoster and Phil Wilde own the label 2 Unlimited and in 1998 they tried to revive the group again when they recruited a new Dutch duo of singers Romy van Ooijen (born 1971) and Marjon van Iwaarden. Album II was released, but the plan to build on past successes ended in failure and the group broke up again in 1999.

In 2009, after thirteen years, original members Ray and Anita performed together at the I Love The 90s concert in Hasselt, Belgium.
