You dance Lindy Hop, you want to start with solo jazz and you don't know how?
If you want to learn how to move on your own and not rely only on your partner, this workshop is just for you!
Solo jazz is not just about typical jazz steps. At the workshop, with the help of various exercises, techniques, rhythms, directions, levels and tips, we will show how we can work on ourselves in Lindy and how we can strengthen our self-confidence in dance.
Because being able to dance alone, without a partner... that's a dream! 😍
Levels:
Level 1
You have been dancing lindy hop for a short time and want to start discovering solo movement within a couple dance. You have little or no experience with solo jazz and when you dance alone, you are often not sure what to do..🫣 This level is for you if you want to master the basics in peace, understand your own movement and gain more confidence in "being on the dance floor for yourself".🕺🏽
Level 2
You have been dancing lindy hop for about 2 years or more and solo movement is already a more natural part of dancing for you. You know the basic jazz steps and can use them, but you want to connect them more with couple dancing and your own style. 🤔 We will focus less on "what to dance" and more on "how to dance" - musicality, variations, quality of movement and greater freedom in solo moments
The workshop will take place on 17/05/2026 in Swingovn, U Smaltovny 20, Prague 7
Price of one level: 700 CZK
Price of both levels: 1,200 CZK
Cancellation fee: from 10/05/2026 the cancellation fee is 100%
