ZukuL Filmabend: Radical - Eine Klasse für sich

An inspiring drama that shows what difference loving and individual attention can make in a person's life. - Falter

We will meet on November 14th, 2024 at 6:30 p.m. in the Amerlinghaus to watch the film “Radical - A class of its own". Afterwards, we invite you to a cozy conclusion with stimulating conversations.

This exciting film, based on a true story, shows us in an honest way how much undiscovered potential can lie dormant in children and how important and formative it is can be a teacher.

“12-year-old Paloma and her father make a living by collecting garbage. Nico works with his brother for the narcos. Lupe, in turn, has to look after her younger siblings. The three of them's everyday lives are characterized by fear and violence. They attend the “José Urbina López” school together – the worst in all of Mexico. Your new class leader, Sergio, chooses a special path to free his protégés from the dead end of a lack of prospects. With empathy and creativity, he manages to win the children's affection and impart knowledge to them in a playful way. However, his unconventional teaching methods are met with little acceptance in the teachers’ room.” (https://www.filmcasino.at/film/radical-eine-klasse-fuer-sich/< /a>)
