About event
🎊 After a successful 1st year, we are happy to announce that the Women in Art festival will return in 2026.
👩🎨 At KKC Hviezda, we believe that a woman's point of view brings essential depth and complexity to art. That is why we are creating a space where ideas, inspiring stories and the work of exceptional women meet. We thereby confirm that women's work has an inescapable and fundamental influence on contemporary culture and society. The program includes: inspiring lectures, deep discussions, concerts, theatrical productions and creative workshops.
The stars of the 2026 edition of the Women in Art Festival 2026 are as follows: ⬇️
🎶 𝐥𝐮𝐠𝐞𝐧 𝐁𝐥𝐥𝐤𝐫𝐨𝐤 is a South African rapper, singer and lyricist from Queenstown. Despite wider recognition, it remains rooted in the underground, bypassing commercial formulas in favor of complexity, spirit and truth. Her work is rooted in the political and metaphysical dimensions of hip-hop, it talks about identity, resistance and inner life. As she herself once said: "I am not an advertising promotion machine. I am an independent artist who promotes a certain lifestyle that may not be compatible with what is printed on television." Humor is a big part of her coping mechanism, so she chooses to look at situations from a funny angle with sarcasm and laugh at them. The main reason she writes songs is to show people what's going on in her head and find people who feel the same way. "I want all the people who feel like weirdos or just have trouble understanding the world to know that they are welcome here, in my little world that I create. We can sing together, cry, hold each other's heads and laugh, but most of all we can feel accepted." women at the turn of their thirties will bring a lot of music, funny and touching situations and one man, played by Matúš Kvietik, who may have a completely different perspective on all of this. Anna Magdaléna Hroboňová and Andrea Bučková reveal the female self in a generational statement that wants to scream, cry, go crazy and understand what must die in us so that we can be reborn and live fully here and now.
🎭 Healing comedy
"What happens when a group of women find themselves alone together in the boarding house U troch mangalice? Removed from their everyday lives, they set up a mirror for each other, confront their fears and dare to dream until they discover their inner goddess. And maybe they just talk about sex and feed the mangalice.
