About event
Over the past fifteen years, the position of women and minorities as gamers, but also as protagonists of the games themselves, has fundamentally changed in the video game world. Even in mainstream games, we open previously unseen topics and play (play) with previously unseen characters.
In this year's second CSPK seminar, Honza Fára Andrš will discuss important battles of the culture wars that we could watch online (GamerGate, DoritoGate), but also those that took place behind the glass walls of game publishers. And above all their consequences. Where has the pursuit of diversity, equity and inclusion in major studios led us? Are the games "woke"? And are they therefore better, different, or worse?
