About event
Continuing education
Through the exchange with contemporary witnesses, those interested gain insights into the history they experienced and can talk historically with contemporary witnesses Reflect on events. Through contemporary witness work, older people find out how their stories become history. The ZeitWeugenBörse e.V. (ZZB) promotes exchange between generations and creates a platform for personal memories. The ZZB brings together contemporary witnesses who experienced different historical eras and events, including National Socialism, the Holocaust, the Second World War and the post-war period, life in divided Berlin until the fall of the Wall, immigration and migration. We invite those interested to exchange ideas with contemporary witnesses from the ZZB and discuss what the memories mean for us today. The exact topic will be announced four weeks in advance under www.unionhilfswerk.de/engagement/termine announced.
