Beautiful SLOVENIA has been waiting for our visit for a long time. We took the discovery from A to Z and together with our three children we went on a several-day trek to the Julian Alps, to experience rafting on the Soča river or to karst caves that have no equivalent in Europe.
We enjoyed getting to know the centers of the historic towns of Ptuj, Piran or Ljubljana, but we were better off high in the mountains around Triglav, or the Great Plains, where local herders produce excellent cheese. And of course we couldn't miss the iconic lakes Bled lake and Bohinj. Both lakes, although they are surrounded by mountains, are not at all cold and you can swim in them.
We will be happy to advise you on how to organize your road trip itinerary across Slovenia for a week, two or three, but most importantly... which secret places not to be missed!! Welcome to Slovenia!!
