About event

The final evening of the Dancetopia festival is in the spirit of shared experience, evolution and love of dance. Visitors are invited to share the space, which invites us to think about what we have experienced together and what we will take with us into our daily lives.

The evening will begin with the performance Mnohodinec by Lucie Kašiarová, which is based on the state of multiplicity inside and outside the individual. Through body, voice and imagination, personal and collective experiences intertwine, questioning where one ends and the other begins. Chance, mistake, superposition, dance, physics and movement become the starting points for action. Mnohodinec unfolds as a collective creation mediated by the performer's body and encourages the audience to face the elusive, unspoken and unresolved, not in search of a conclusion, but in the very act of confrontation.

The program continues with the performance Ergopermaperformance by Pavel Matela (Permaperformer). In response to the immediate environment, its instruments, sounds and atmospheric conditions, the performer performs routine work activities with conscious physical effort. Movement and sound intertwine as a radio broadcast is woven into the action with a song playing or spoken word. Visitors are invited to observe and sometimes even cautiously enter this evolving work space, where the boundaries between performance, task and participation gradually dissolve.

The evening will end with the performance Solo 2025 + Slow Rave performed by Peter Pleyer. Drawing on release techniques and contact improvisation and following in the tradition of figures like Steve Paxton or Trisha Brown, this solo moves between body memory, storytelling and contemplative presence. He asks what remains – of movement, of practice, of the dancing body formed over time. The performance, which emerges from a longer artistic career, becomes both a continuation and a quiet transformation, guided by curiosity and an abiding love of dance.
