Maybe you've never sewn before. Maybe you have a 🧵 machine at home that has been looking at you from the shelf for years. And maybe you simply want to know how to sew something practical. 🧶 This course is exactly for you - regardless of age or self-confidence. It is intended for complete beginners and those who want to review the basics.
🗓️ Thursdays: 19.3., 26.3., 9.4., 16.4., 23.4.
⏰ 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
🤩 15 interesting hours await you - 5 three-hour sessions full of practical tasks in a small group, so that the lecturer can give you intensive attention and to get the most out of the course.

- you will learn to work with a sewing machine, various materials and sewing aids
- you will understand the basics of sewing without stress and chaos
- you will learn techniques that you will use every time you sew
- you will be able to use different stitches, even sew a zipper
- you will create your own cut
- you will take home 5 self-sewn products
- you will gain confidence that sewing is a skill that everyone can master - even you
🪡WHO WILL TEACH YOU TO SEW?
He will accompany you step by step Katarína Berceli Olesová, known for her patient approach, clear explanations and ability to teach sewing even to those who think they will never be able to do it.
Lecturer - Katarína
- graduate of clothing school and clothing designer
- has been sewing for more than 25 years
- creates video YT instructions under the project akousit.sk: akousit
- she sews her own collections under the Okata brand.
- runs courses for beginners and advanced
- collaborated on the project Workshops for children and mothers (VÚB Foundation, EduNature Nitra) and works as a lecturer at the Creative Center Nitra
- won the award Blogger of the Year - Rookie of the Year for the project akousit.sk
🧵Course program - 5 meetings, 5 projects, fixed basics
Katarina will guide you through the complete basics step by step. During 5 meetings, you will acquire practical skills that will allow you to sew independently, without chaos in concepts and without fear of zippers or knitting. The course is based on specific products that you will take home. Every day you will learn a new technique and immediately use it in practice.
🧵1. day - You will get your bearings in sewing - you will take home a simple grocery bag, on which you will practice these basics and understand many procedures.
🧵2. day - Cutting is not a scarecrow - you cut out and sew your own retractable backpack
🧵3. day – Zip without panic - you can take the finished bag home with you.
🧵4. day - Stretch materials under control - you will prepare a cut for a hat, hood or top.
🧵5. day - Your own piece - you can cut out and sew a hat, hood or top from the prepared cut.
All you need is the desire to try it and the determination to start. Now is the time to start.
