Zahajovací večer: Mezi rutinou a fantazií

On the first evening of the Dancetopia festival, visitors are invited to a space where routine and imagination merge through a performance and a joint meeting.

The program will start with the performance Ergopermaperformance by Pavel Matela (Permaperformer). In response to the immediate environment, its instruments, sounds and atmospheric conditions, the performer performs routine work activities with conscious physical effort. Movement and sound intertwine when a radio broadcast is woven into the action with a song being played or spoken word. Visitors are invited to observe and sometimes even cautiously enter this evolving workspace, where the boundaries between performance, task and participation gradually dissolve.

The evening continues with the performance Asphalt Lovers by Azolla Collective. Set in an asphalt landscape, the work brings visitors into contact with hybrid bodies that struggle with loneliness, frustration and breakdown while searching for ways to fit in. Through bodily perception, openness, and intertwined relationships with superhuman entities, they seek ways to share, co-inhabit, and co-shape the world.

After the performances, the audience is cordially invited to a welcome dinner, an informal meeting with other festival participants, and the art of the festival. This first moment together offers space for establishing contacts, exchanging opinions and tuning in to the Dancetopia rhythm together.
