Are you starting to swing and just deciding to go to your first dance hall? Or do you already go to dance clubs? Anyway, you are right here, this is the event for you.
Come and spend the afternoon in Stromovka with other beginners, instructors and other dancers who want to welcome you to the swing community 🫶
❔ WHY COME ❔
🤝 you will get to know
The more swingers you know, the more you will dance, that's a well-known thing, and here you will also meet a lot of others beginners, with whom you can then explore other dance halls.
🧘 you can be calm
If you are still afraid to go to other dance halls or you don't dare to challenge others to dance at them, you don't have to be afraid here - this is a party where everyone comes to chat and dance with a beginner... so why not with you?

🌳 meeting in Stromovce
We will let you know the exact location after we evaluate the situation on the spot - we certainly don't have this idea alone and we don't want to disturb anyone by squatting, so maybe we will take the place operatively - but for the time being we will head to the gazebo in the western part of the park.
🎒 what to bring
Things for the picnic (blanket, goodies, sweater/sunscreen depending on the circumstances 🙂) and things for the dance (comfortable clothes and shoes, willingness to make mistakes 🙃). We will take care of the music - and we don't need more.
🕰️ what awaits us
14.30 meeting, laying out the blankets, getting to know each other, discovering what everyone brought
15.00 Snacks from swing history - talking with Adam H. about where swing actually came from and time for swing Q&A
DJ follows and plays until we are entertained :-)

We'll let you know the precise location once we assess the situation on the day – we're probably not alone with this idea and don't want our dancing to disturb anyone, so we might take up an unexpected spot in the end – but we're aiming for the gazebo in the west part of the park.
🎒 what to bring
Picnic stuff (blanket, snacks, sweater/sunscreen depending on the day 🙂) and dancing stuff (comfy clothes and shoes, willingness to make mistakes 🙃). We'll take care of the music – and that's all we need.

3.00 pm Swing History Bites – a talk with Adam H. on where swing came from + swing Q&A
Then the DJ takes over and plays as long as we dance :-)
