Zabiť Františka

The fourth year of the Christmas benefit concert for the civic association Cesta von will bring the concert Zabiť František do Ponqu on December 19.

The profit from the event will go in full to the Omama, Amal, Filip and Zebra projects, which deal with working with people in excluded communities at different stages of their lives, always bringing slightly different challenges that Cesta von tries to address.

Samuel Kovalčík alias Zabiť Františka is a Slovak alt-folk singer-songwriter who uniquely combines indie-pop and Czech-Slovak folk in his music. His second album II won the Radio_head Awards 2024 in the Folk Music category. Collages of pop culture references and a captivating voice-over open topics such as the return of war clouds over Europe, the mortality of the soul, but also the constant hope for change and (self) forgiveness.
