About event

During this walk through the Old Town to the places that were made famous by the writer and poet Géza Včelička with his novel Prague Secrets, participants will follow in the footsteps of the remains of two Czech patrons - St. John of Nepomuk and St. Agnes of Bohemia. He will talk about the "migratory" statue by Ferdinand Maxmilián Brokoff and the now defunct priority of the Order of Cyriak with a red heart in Dušní Street, who found and buried the body of Dr. Johanek of Pomuk. They will walk around the Baroque complex of the monastery and the Hospital of the Merciful Francis brothers and enjoy the view of another monastery, this time early Gothic, founded by Saint Agnes Česká. The culmination of the walk will be a tour of the Church of St. Haštal, the oldest parish center in Prague, talking about the exciting search for the place of the last rest of our saint Přemyslid blood. They will also have a unique opportunity to visit the interior of the former plague chapel of the Holy Trinity with a beautiful ceiling fresco, which previously served as the Baroque churchstick of the cemetery at St. Haštala.
