About event
Who else is on board?
Yared Dibaba – you know him. No need to introduce much. The likeable entertainer from TV, the charming presenter with the sonorous voice and the Low German vibe – yes, exactly that one! In his new show he is personal and pointed as well as honest and committed - but never with a raised finger. Inspired by Eckart von Hirschhausen, who makes medicine understandable with humor, and by Martin Rütter, who even rocks the stage with the topic of dog training, Yared now brings diversity to the stage - smart, funny, honest. Because: We are all different - but we share something deeply human: the desire to belong.
From Oromia to East Frisia. From refugee child to television star. From entertainer to empowerment coach. Yared Dibaba has been through a lot - and that's exactly what he's bringing to the stage now. He talks about his escape, about arriving, about being a stranger - and about finding himself again. His brother? Always by his side. The humor? His survival tool. The hope? Never lost. He speaks Afaan Oromo, German and Platt - and thus hits the heart. Where it hurts. And where it gets warm.
This show is more than entertainment, it is an experience. A wake-up call. An invitation. You go out – moved, inspired, empowered. And you think: I feel like setting off with him. A show for everyone who likes to laugh - and wants more than just flat jokes.
The new show by Yared Dibaba: Raw, unfiltered, rousing, real. Yared Dibaba – not only puts you in a good mood, but also makes you want to live together peacefully in all its diversity. No moral pointing finger, but real depth and fine humor. No band noise. No artificial smile. No bullshit. Just Yared. With music. With message. With courage.
