Workshop: Vianočná fotokomora s Kamilom Vargom

Are you fascinated by classic film photography, but don't have the equipment and knowledge for it? So you are right here.
In this course, we will guide you through the entire process from shooting the film to its development, stabilization and drying. Dilution of solutions, exposure tests, enlargement, development, washing and drying. And all this with a lecturer who grew up with this magical process.

We will start the course by taking a few pictures outside with a classic camera for a film with a Christmas or Advent theme, or a stylish still life in the interior. You do not need to have your own camera for film, it will be loaned to you during the course. This film will then be developed, stabilized, washed and dried under the supervision of the lecturer.

In the next step, we will move it to the photo chamber, where you will put it in the enlarger and after fine-tuning the cutout, size and exposure tests, you will light the photographic paper. You then put it in the developer and watch the "miracle" of classic photography when an image begins to appear on the photo paper. Rinse and fix the photo by inserting it into the fixer. Then wash and dry.
And your Christmas photo is ready!

You can also create your own original photogram or a combination of photo and photogram. You can also try a photo montage from two or more negatives.
If we have time left, we will show you how such photos are retouched. It is not as easy as on a computer.
