About event
Workshop with Ján Hubinský / Sensitively about Brutalism
We invite you to a workshop with ceramicist Ján Hubinský, who together with his son Juraj created the work Trizolit as part of the Sensitively about Brutalism project. This is a work that paraphrases "Dog" by Ján H. Blich, which was located on the island at the site of today's summer swimming pool. The cast concrete building consists of three parts connected to each other by steel rods and is also located on the Island near the campsite. During the workshop, you will have the opportunity to create your own mini "dog" or "dragon" from clay, which you can have fired at Ján Hubinski. This will create an original souvenir interesting in its shape and history.
The workshop is realized as part of the project Ciltlivo o brutalizme / Sensitively on brutalism, which is part of the Trenčín 2026 program. Entry to the workshop is free, but you need to register on the gallery's website www.gmab.sk. The maximum is 15 participants.
