About event
During the One World festival, Natali Dani from Ahojwrld, Bratislava's two-inline skating club, will lead a two-hour workshop. In addition to teaching you the basic technique of skating, he will also explain the history of skating in connection with social activist activities. The two hours of movement will be lightened by theoretical breaks and talking not only about history, but also about the current social shifts that this group activity brings us.
THE EVENT IS FREE, BUT REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED UNTIL 24.10, 17.00. Link:

Program:
- getting to know each other,
- connection of hellowrld skating and the One World festival,
- warm-up,
- technique on the spot,
- technique in motion,
- pair skating,
- group game,
- theoretical window,
- mini choreography, flight's dance,
- dancing together on skates to music + space for individual questions and making friends.
All parts of the program are voluntary, you can put your skates on or take them off at any time, take a break, go for a coffee. In the beginning, however, it is necessary to be on time for the workshop, because Natali Dani will hand over the skates to everyone at once. He will explain to you the best way to put them on, lace them up and stand on them.
We will be staying in the vicinity of the Lumiére cinema. The two-hour course will take place outside on a covered area, but if you want to sit down and relax, we'll be sitting on the ground. So bring a blanket/pillow/sweatshirt with you if you don't want to sit directly on the dirty concrete.
At least a smaller amount of muscle mass is needed for skating, which will help the body balance. The first steps can sometimes be clumsy, but Natali Dani will continuously explain to you how to find balance in the various movements that you will try in the group. It is recommended that you bring your own helmet and wrist, knee and elbow pads. Each participant is responsible for their own safety, for participants under the age of 18 a parent or guardian is responsible.
During the workshop, we will play music, have fun and have fun, because that's what skating is all about.
