Negotiation means more than good rhetoric or convincing arguments.

In a negotiation different interests, expectations and issues come together each other. Good arguments alone are often not enough. Successful negotiations arise through structure, analysis and a clear understanding of the interests of everyone involved.

In this workshop you will learn the basics of professional negotiation - from analyzing the situation to developing viable solutions. It's not about being right, but rather developing options that create real value for all sides.

• Understanding different types of negotiation and when which strategy makes sense
• Analysis of interests, positions and negotiation situations
• Distinction between Factual and relationship level in negotiations
• Strategies to avoid compromises too quickly
• Methods to create more value together (“enlarge the cake”) before it is divided

Previous knowledge is not necessary.

Content and format

The workshop conveys key points Basics of negotiation and shows how structured negotiations work.

Contents are combined from:

• short theoretical inputs
• practical examples
• discussion and reflection of real negotiation situations

The aim is to provide a clear overview of the most important professional principles Negotiations.

● €15 early bird ticket – when booked online at least 3 days in advance
● €20 regular price – online or on site (card payment possible)
● €65 semester pass – includes all sessions of the semester
