Since the desperate years of the 1980s and 1990s, when an HIV diagnosis was virtually a death sentence, medical research has made wonderful progress.

In societies where medication and medical care are available, HIV-positive people can now lead relatively normal lives in terms of health.

But a chronic diagnosis is never easy, and if it is When it comes to a sexually transmitted disease, it takes a lot to deal with it freely and openly. For those affected as well as for those around them.

World AIDS Day offers an opportunity to celebrate life with an HIV diagnosis, and, last but not least, to show solidarity with everyone else towards HIV-positive people.
