👉Since you graduated from our entire academy for Moderately Advanced (L2) and master basic and extended west-coast-swing variations, their combinations and basic styling, you are no stranger to terms such as connection, ancor, strech, ci frame and even consider them part of comfortable and pleasant dancing, but you want to learn even more about other techniques in WCS and learn more complex variations and superstructures, YOU ARE HERE RIGHT!
This is the next level for you. Our annual academy can be completed from any part of the year and contains the same 4 runs as in L2. And as you have already discovered, each run has its own focus and main theme:
- autumn (magic hands&feet),
- winter (Connection – Anchor – Stretch - Lead (CAStLe); ),
- spring (turns, spins&rotations) and
- summer (Stylings&Specials :DDD).
We are currently entering the summer run, focused on styling and specials such as DDD=duck, dip&drops. You won't be bored with us this time either. You won't be bored with us this time either. 👉Course focus: you will learn extended variations in WCS and their combinations. You will learn what WCS styling of hands and feet is and how it can be used. In addition to improving the basic technique within the ancor step, frame, stretch and connection, you will expand your basic knowledge of important WCS principles, and you will improve your lead&follow so that you can dance fully and pleasantly at any time, with anyone and anywhere in the world, and possibly participate in any WCS event in the world that attracts you. We will teach you how to dance duck, dip or drop.
And if you are interested, we will take you to an event to which one of our lecturers will also travel (we will help with information, Pass equipment, travel organization or accommodation, everything that is needed). You can find out about evenotch on our FB page or in the wocup group).
👕Clothes: you already know this...anyway, comfortable clothes are completely sufficient, all fellow dancers will appreciate it if you bring a spare T-shirt, deodorant, or tik-tacks. Otherwise, apart from comfortable shoes that could slip a little and be at least partially flexible (dance shoes, trainers or barefoot are welcome) and a good mood, you don't need anything special. We look forward to seeing you!
