"My coffin be carried six of our best and most beautiful boys. Before I have to go, leave me alone for an hour or all night. If I'm between them, I know I'm alive, even though my body is dead." Have you ever heard the name? Isn't it? It doesn't matter, in a hundred years no one will remember you either. At least if your story does not discover Wandervogel - a group of charming otherchs with an elderly leader who have rehearsed the story of love, friendship and fascism. It is 1918 and the Sudeten Germans find themselves in a state where they do not want to be. Who will protect the sacred homeland from the Czech aggressor? The difficult task is taken by Heinz Ruth, who sees the way to emancipation through the education of the elite groups of young boys - Männerbundu, which is to become the ruling layer of the future Sudeten German state.

The starting point for scenic composition combining elements of documentary and physical theater. The intimate war diary, authentic police protocols and historical-political manifestations intertwine with the personal experience of performers and create tension between the past and the current meanings of the concepts on which Rutha has built his ideas about the ideal community. What do sexuality, body, state, fascism, nature, beauty?

The production is inspired by Mark Cornwall's book. Mikhaylov, Václav Němec
Music: Matouš Hekela
Sound, Light: Ondřej Růžička Cornwall, Jan Hofman, Lucia Škandíková

The production was created in cooperation with the Masaryk Institute and Archive of the ASCR, Academia publishing house and Prague Theater Festival. 𝟳𝟬 𝗺𝗶𝗻
