About event
This is probably the best news of the young new year: the MADNESS continues! “Wahnsinn – The Show” will come back to the stage in 2026 as a big Wolfgang Petry birthday party. It's the year in which Wolle celebrates his 75th birthday and his 50th stage anniversary! Even though he is no longer on stage himself, his fans have the most fun celebrating all his hits and catchy tunes. “Wahnsinn – The Show 2026” – not only offers lots of Wolfgang Petry hits, but is also a breathtaking journey through time that revives moving moments, entertaining stories and personal anecdotes from Wolfgang Petry’s career. The show, which will take place for the 5th time in 2026, focuses on the pop icon's music and original songs and celebrates the big Wolfgang Petry birthday party in 2026 - with all his hits such as Falling in Love, Lost, Forgotten, Forgive, Heaven is Burning and of course Madness.
What fans love about this show: The style of a real concert experience. The production follows on from the legendary final concert of Wolfgang Petry's acclaimed "Einfach Geil" tour from 1999 and uses video material from that time to catapult the viewer back at the speed of light to his attitude to life from 20 years ago: Feel this energy again, celebrate all the hits again as if there was no tomorrow. Since the music legend himself hasn't performed live for a long time, the aim is to give fans the opportunity to sing along to his hits again in this show.
The audience can look forward to a completely new stage show that will set completely new standards especially for this anniversary tour. An outstanding band and great soloists bring the Petry feeling authentically to the stage and will passionately celebrate Wolfgang Petry's music together with the fans.
Over 150,000 visitors have seen the show since the first tour in 2022 and are thrilled. Madness is known - the show as the biggest Petry party of all time, also from TV: whether Florian Silbereisen's Schlagerbooom, the big hit anniversary or mega events like the hit night of the year or the big hit beach party - in all of these formats, the madness crew with their soloists, band and dancers really heated up the audience. A must for every Petry fan!
