The cycle They stepped out of the shadows, already has a firm place in the Janoušková atelier. This is also proven by the fact that, thanks to the interest of the listeners, the third year of lectures dedicated to Czech Czechoslovak female artists of the second half of the 20th century has already been announced. emancipation was often thorny. The series They came out of the shadows will once again present a varied mix of portraits of female painters, sculptors, illustrators, architects and designers, and will deal with their creative work, as well as the context of the time and environment in which they lived and worked. The aim of the lecture series is not the primary adoration of women artists, much more repayment of a certain debt in the public's awareness of their artistic work.
