The exhibition "In the mosaic of a jewel" presents the diverse approaches of Slovak jewelers to contemporary creation. Despite the joint effort to preserve and develop the craft tradition, each author brings a unique expression, themes and materials to the jewelry. Several artistic generations and aesthetic visions meet in one space.
Visitors can see works from traditional techniques to avant-garde experiments that redefine the boundaries of jewelry as an artistic medium. The presented jewelry is the bearer of personal stories, statements about the person and the time in which they are created.
The exhibition celebrates creative plurality and authorial freedom, which shapes Slovak jewelry as an open and innovative discipline.
