Academic painter Igor Piačka is dedicated to painting, graphics, drawing, illustration and stamp creation. His works are represented in many private and public collections around the world.
The basis of the author's work, whatever the technique, is always a precise and perfectly controlled drawing. This allows him to create works with an extraordinary sense of detail, the sharpness of his vision and the accuracy of communication.
The author depicts a fragile woman most often together with an opposite element of strength, brutality, animality or violence, which, however, is conquered by this delicate being without exception. With this, the artist reveals to us his version of the true essence of real "strength" and leaves no one in doubt as to who is really stronger in his paintings. Although Piaček's women are depicted as nudes, he does not see an exclusively erotic charge or motive in their nudity. He is primarily interested in the "aesthetics of human beauty", while the capture of its essence is, it seems, directly conditioned by nudity.
