VYSHYVANKA DAY
Invites you to the anniversary — 10 years of Vyshyvanka Day in Prague!
In 2026, we will celebrate the 10th anniversary of VYSHYVANKA DAY in Prague — an event that became a symbol of the unity of Ukrainians abroad, love for traditions and pride in their culture.
From 2016 to Vyshyvanka Day, dozens of cultural events were organized that united the Ukrainian community in the Czech Republic and at the same time presented its culture to the majority of society, as well as to other national minorities and communities.
The biggest event was the mega-parade in embroidered clothes in Prague, which every year gathered hundreds of participants in the city center and drew attention to Ukrainian culture.
From 2024, VYSHYVANKA DAY as part of the cultural events organized by VYSHYVANKA DAY in the Czech Republic, for the Ukrainian community created a large-scale holiday - VYSHYVANKA FEST.
The festival program includes:
interesting facts about Ukrainian vyshyvanka,
shows of authentic vyshyvanka,
embroidery master classes,
creative performances and much more.
During the holiday, Ukrainian melodies, songs and folk dances are heard, creating an atmosphere of authentic Ukrainian unity.
It is especially important for us to pass on this shared spirit, love for Ukrainian culture and traditions to our children and the younger generation.
Representatives of other national minorities also take part in the festival. In this way, this cultural event becomes a bridge between cultures, which promotes mutual understanding, dialogue and cooperation between communities in the Czech Republic.
And already this year, VYSHYVANKA DAY invites Ukrainians, representatives of other national minorities, the Czech community and guests of the city to the 3rd VYSHYVANKA FEST · PRAHA 2026. The celebration will take place in the GAUČ area, Výstaviště from 13:00–19:00.
🎤 Live sound: concert program with the participation of groups, bands, bands, ensembles, performance of national minorities

🍲 Food court with dishes of Ukrainian cuisine
👨👩👧👦 Children's zone and entertainment for the whole family
