About event
Vyliate Duše will come to Prešov again!
And this in the composition of poets:
LJUK
Sarcastic and incorrect finalist of the Slovak Slam Poetry Championship 2024 and champion of the small scene in central and eastern Slovakia. This horror lover lifts the audience out of their seats, has controversial lines and is a walking medium to the ordinary.
LUNA
An extraordinary performer who expresses her elusive identity through slam poetry. Her work is characterized by the rich use of metaphors, analogies and anaphoras, which she uses to underline complex life experiences. Her lyrics echo political themes or frustration with the Slovak reality. She believes that at the end of every story there is an individual - "you", and therefore we are all worthy of being the heroes of her work.
BIXIE
A being that is not afraid to connect metaphor with reality. Her verses will transport you to the bowels of your thirteenth chamber. Poems that are from life will bring you laughter, but also a tear on your face. It's the definition of a paradox, but you'll see that when you arrive!
SIMON
Rojko lost in the absurdity of everyday life. A dreamer from Podpoľania, a self-proclaimed poet and a fly with eight legs. He loves words, art, tea and chocolate pudding. She writes about "wet pigeons" and for her, poetry is light, world and escape at the same time.
The musical guests will be CHARLOT and ANDREJ KLOBUŠNÍK:
Charlot and Andrej are an acoustic duo from Košice, who got together this summer with the common goal of making a piece of fine art, saying what hasn't been said yet and giving poetry a second breath with the guitar. Honest Slovak lyrics, authenticity and no unnecessary frills.
In the event, it will be possible to present your work as part of Open Mic!
Entrance will be €5-10.
We look forward to seeing you!
