Vortrag Dr. Daniele Ganser

The US-led NATO military alliance was founded in 1949. NATO now has 32 member states, with the previously neutral states Finland and Sweden also joining in recent years. NATO repeatedly praises itself and claims that it is making an important contribution to peace and security in Europe. The Swiss historian and peace researcher Daniele Ganser examined NATO more closely and came to a completely different conclusion. In his lecture he explains why NATO does not promote peace, but war. He shows how NATO violated its own North Atlantic Treaty and the UN Charter by attacking Serbia in 1999. And how NATO's eastward expansion led to the war in Ukraine and the confrontation with Russia. In Italy, explosives from NATO secret army camps were used to carry out terrorist attacks as part of Operation Gladio. The terrorist attacks were then blamed on the Italian communists in order to discredit them. Daniele Ganser is convinced that Switzerland should under no circumstances join NATO and should maintain its permanent neutrality. He calls on Germany to withdraw from NATO and to engage in peace and diplomacy as a neutral country.
