About event
Vojtik & Nina Kohout
23. July, 19:00
Zichy Palace, courtyard
The courtyard of Zichy Palace in Bratislava will welcome two outstanding personalities of contemporary Slovak alt-pop on Thursday, July 23, 2026. Vojtík and Nina Kohout – musical colleagues, friends and winners of the Radio_Head Awards, where they also shared a powerful musical performance together. Last year, Vojtik hosted Nine during the opening concert of the Pohoda festival. Now their paths will cross again on the same stage, where they will perform separate concerts, but will also connect in joint musical moments.
We invite you to this unique experience during the summer in the center of the Old Town.
Vojtík brings a special authenticity and feeling for conceptual expression to the domestic scene. He became widely known in 2023 with the composition Detviansky sen. His songs carry a captivating melancholy, which naturally contrasts with the soft pop form and expressive expression. Vojtík's artistic identity also extends beyond the boundaries of music - he creates his own visuals and is inspired by drag culture, horror cinematography and the aesthetics of old Hollywood.
On this evening, he will play a special intimate set in which Kevin Gerhárd Lázok accompanies him on the piano.
Nina Kohout, singer, composer and producer, also shaped her talent at the prestigious London's The BRIT School. In recent years, she has been intensively touring all over Europe - she has performed over a hundred performances, including leading showcase festivals such as Eurosonic in the Netherlands or Waves Vienna in Austria. In his original work, he combines the deep shades of old Slovak folklore, serious music and electronics, creating a layered sound world in which a mysterious atmosphere meets transparent purity.
The artists are united not only by mutual musical hosting, but also by the publishing house Slnko Records, under which they both work.
Concert tickets for €10 and €5 (students, seniors, ŤZP) can be purchased via GoOut.net - https://goout.net/sk/nina-kohout+vojtik/szfkwky
The concert takes place as part of the Cultural Summer in the Old Town, which will bring dozens of events, exhibitions, concerts and physical activities.
