Vladimir Cosma in Concert

Vladimir Cosma has become one of the most sought-after film composers since the 1970s. Although he was born in Romania and grew up musically on classical and jazz, he found his greatest creative home in France, where he began composing film scores and quickly gained a privileged position. His name is associated with the films The Big Blonde with the Black Shoe, The Adventures of Rabbi Jacob, Wing or Leg, Animal and many others. It stands out for its catchy, funny and touching melody, which can not only accompany the film, but become an integral part of it. He was awarded a number of international awards, including two Césars for the best music for the films Diva (1981, award 1982) and Dancer (Le Bal, 1983, award 1984). Now, after eight years, he returns to our festival to personally conduct his most famous film melodies in the Smetana Hall of the Municipal House.
