Guided tour with the curator of the exhibition with curators Martina Chadimová and Magdalena Nerudová.
The exhibition presents the field of conservation and restoration of arts and crafts objects as an interdisciplinary discipline that connects science, art and craft. While in the past restoration was mainly carried out by masters in the field of craftsmanship in which the given artefact was created, today the field is richly represented by experts with a targeted education as a conservator-restorer at various types of schools. This corresponds to the gradual change of approach and procedures in the field of conservation and restoration for most materials.
The exhibition brings a deeper understanding of what the "invisible" work that stands between the past and the future entails.
