About event
🔬 August weekends in SteelPark continue with more scientific discoveries, experiments and creative activities for young and old SCIENTISTS. 🧪
✨During the weekend of August 15 and 16, 2026, visitors can expect an interactive exhibition, a thematic demonstration of a workshop, creative workshops🎨 and an exhibition that shows that great ideas can be created already in childhood. 💡There is also an opportunity to see for yourself that some materials can behave completely differently than we would expect. 🤯
🖼️The Creativity Saves the World exhibition, presented as part of the MyMachine program, brings closer the path from an initial child's idea to the creation of a real functional invention. 💭 Original prototypes created according to children's designs show that fantasy, technology and creativity can go hand in hand🤝 and even a simple idea can be transformed into an innovative one. solution.🚀
🧫The weekend program will be completed by a short preview of the workshop Non-Newtonian liquid, which will bring one of the interesting phenomena of physics closer. Demonstrations will take place at 11:00 a.m., 1:00 p.m., 3:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. and will last approximately 15 to 20 minutes.⏱️
🧪During the experiment, the secret of a substance that behaves neither like an ordinary liquid nor like a solid is revealed. A simple mixture of starch and water will show that the properties of materials can change depending on how we act on them.
🎨From 10.00 a.m. to 6.00 p.m. creative workshops will also be open, where you can create your own wooden puzzles. A creative activity will offer space for relaxation, development of imagination and a pleasant addition to a day full of scientific experiences.🪵
🔍Come and discover the world of physics, where even an ordinary mixture of water and starch can show fascinating regularities. In SteelPark, science is not only observed, but especially tested on one's own skin.🚀
