Vienna Reads at Augarten

Bring a book, read in silence, meet kind people. No assigned reading, no pressure — just peaceful time with books :)

Vienna Reads – a friendly book club meetup at Augarten

Welcome to Vienna Reads — a cozy, pressure-free reading meetup! We’re a new group in town, and this is only our second gathering, but we’re planning to meet every 3–4 weeks in different spots around Vienna.

There’s no assigned reading, no discussion circle, and no need to be “caught up.” Just bring whatever book you’re reading and enjoy the peaceful company of fellow book lovers.

📍 This time we’re meeting in Augarten!

We’ll start at Die Schankwirtschaft im Augarten café, from there we’ll walk to a nice grassy area to read.

✨ You can find us on Instagram at @viennareads — that’s where we’ll post up updates!

What to bring:

• A book (paper, e-reader, audiobook, anything you like!)
• Something to sit on - a blanket, towel, or cushion
• Snacks or drinks if you’d like

Schedule🕚

11:00–11:30 – Meet at the café, say hi, grab a coffee, chat a little about what we’re reading

11:30–13:00 – Quiet reading time

13:00 onwards – Stay and hang out if you want! You can read more, chat, or join us for ice cream or coffee nearby

A few notes:

• Everyone’s welcome — friends, friends of friends, or people who just found us online
• No need to RSVP
• Don’t worry if you’re late or need to leave early, just come as you are
• We’ll also share info through a WhatsApp group (click to join: https://chat.whatsapp.com/Dlo4DgUZ1YOHrhje3JmML5 )

Hope to see you there! 💛
